i think the funniest thing abt the arrow writers is that they truly think felicity ' learned to coupon and budget when she was 8 bc she had to buy groceries and pay the bills when her mom worked bc donna was exhausted from double shifts - got a job as soon as she could to save for college and help with those bills - - started counting cards to pay for college - worked in the safest job in the world just so she would HAVE ONE at QC and then at Tech Village even though she fucking hated it ' Smoak would live in a fucking loft that technically belongs to a man she could not loathe more be out of work while living in the fucking loft and not be working to save money to start Smoak Technologies so she won't have to owe as much money for a loan money is such a sore subject for people who grow up without it to the point that they literally work themselves to death but sure felicity's just vigilante-ing for free and not thinking about the future. tbd. i'll probably make this a Post but i just needed to vent in the tags lmao
